New Q60 vehicle from Nissan’s luxury brand Infiniti is coming with mid-cycle refreshment. Since car is having huge success, company decided to give few more years to current generation. Vehicle will have two variants, Convertible, and probably more interesting, 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe. This concept was presented in Detroit at car show. It shares platform with Q50 sedan, and it is now more attractive than ever. Of course, interior features are modern and all are updated.
2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe engine
Base models of the 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe are being propelled from turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. This drivetrain is not naturally aspired and it is main difference from current model. New V6 should make improvements on efficiency, while adding some more power and torque, believed to be around 330 hp and 281 lb-ft for 2017 Q60 Coupe. Estimated fuel economy is around 22 mpg combined, giving 18 mpg in city and 26 mpg on the open road. A 7-speed auto gearbox is paired with powertrain, while there are rumors about 6-speed transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while AWD is not going to be offered for Coupe model, but just for Q60 Convertible.
There is possibility for another powerplant for 2017 Q60 Coupe. It could be 2.0-l turbocharged four-cylinder engine placed in Q50 sedan, with output of 211 hp. However, these vehicles will be offered outside of the US, mainly in China and Europe.

The 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe is response from Nissan luxury department to growing competition and innovations on Audi A5, 4-Series of BMW and C-class of Mercedes-Benz. The Q60 Coupe took same body structure as Q50 model. This two-door vehicle doesn’t offer same styling as its sibling, appearing more aggressive and sportier. Mid-cycle refresh brings LED lights, leather on steering wheel and seats and improved InTouch infotainment system with touch-screen display. Smartphone integration and few assist systems are improved.

Value of the 2017 Infiniti Q60 Coupe is estimated between $40.000 and $55.000, depending on trim level. This makes new vehicle from Nissan luxury branch competitive with mentioned rivals. Release date is not set yet, but it should happen very soon.
