Previous version of 2015 Infiniti Q70 was called M37 or M56. This is one of the flagship of entire Infiniti lineup. It is sport sedan with exceptional styling. For 2015 year model, Q70 gets longer wheelbase. Now the sedan is one of the most elegant and luxurious models in the class, matching competition with German products, such as BMW 7-series. The Q70 is unique model, with no borrowed styling or engine solutions. Both exterior and interior are very stylish and sophisticated.
2015 Infiniti Q70 engine
Same lineup is packed to 2015 year model as for previous sedans. Rear and all-wheel drive options are offered. Handling and acceleration are exceptional. There are also two engine options placed under the hood of the 2015 Infiniti Q70 sedan, and separate, hybrid model. Base unit is 3.7-liter V6 engine rated at 330 horsepower. Other one is stronger 5.6-literV8, ready to deliver 420 horsepower. Common for both powertrains is they are available with AWD and RWD, and 7-speed gearbox, automated with manual-shift mode. This transmission also offers rev-matching downshifts and optional paddle shifters.
2015 Infiniti Q70 hybrid
Two petrol units are not enough since this sedan also gets hybrid model. It has smaller gasoline engine, 3.5-l V6. That drivetrain is mated with electric battery, lithium-ion-powered. This combination is good for 29/34 mpg rating in city/highway. Also, 5.6-l V8 can be mated to same battery powertrain, but its mileage is under mentioned, with 15/23 mpg.
2015 Infiniti Q70 redesign
New sedan is one of the most elegant in its segment. Jaguar and BMW has their sport sedans topping the class, but Infiniti is not far behind. This sedan has striking edges. Inside, cabin is very comfortable, with a lot of use of wood, leather and nice accents on stitching. Outside of 2015 Infiniti Q70, we see new headlight design, comparing to old M37 and M56 models. Also, grille is made in double arch technique. Of course, with grille, designer always refresh bumpers and fog lights. On the rear end, most notable change is on lamps and a chrome bar. Interior is packed with standard features: leather seats, climate control, sensing wipers and many more, while higher trims get navigation, ventilated seats, DVD player and Enhanced Intelligent Key system as a new feature.
