Concept of the 2016 Infiniti Q30 was shown way back in 2011, and not it got a green light for production. We also had a chance to see the vehicle under heavy camouflage in street testing. It has been evolved from platform presented few years ago. This vehicle is new in the class and it takes the place for small hatchback, right behind bigger Q40 model. However, 2016 Q30 is economical and more affordable vehicle, which could cause interest from buyers. However, that we will know, when the car hits the dealerships, probably in first half of 2016.
2016 Infiniti Q30 redesign
Design of the 2016 Infiniti Q30 is both interesting and complex. Platform used as a matrix is from A- and GLA- classes of Mercedes’ MFA compact car platforms. However, it is still questionable would the company make some modifications for US models. This vehicle is placed somewhere between hatchback and SUV, with some characteristics of sedans. Vehicles saw on spy shots are somehow higher than average hatch.

2016 Infiniti Q30 competition and price
End of the 2015 is planned for official premiere of the 2016 Infiniti Q30. Few months later, some rumors say March, market launch is scheduled. Infiniti decided to speed up things because of agile competition, mainly German. Biggest rivals to 2016 Q30 are going to be Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA250. However, Infiniti can match them with features, luxury and quality, and also price, which could be around $30.000 for the new Q30. However, appearance and sales in US are still questionable, since company haven’t confirmed that this hatchback is headed there, but it will rather compete for European market.
