2018 Infiniti QX60

By 2018 we expect new Infiniti QX60 to be presented at one of the largest car shows. This is going to be big refresh for luxury mid-size crossover segment and Japanese brand is the first company to announce model for that year. The 2018 Infiniti QX60 will appear again as 7-seater. Standard offer of features is superb, and higher trims will be breathtaking. Excellent performance is not in doubt, and engineers are going to improve mileage for upcoming SUV. With reliability, durability and styling, this could be one of the most impressive model in 2018, which will be shown in pricing.

2018 Infiniti QX60 redesign

One of the best crossovers in the market was QX50, but now its bigger brother could be more stunning. Exterior is not so impressive as the cabin, mainly because of the hi-tech equipment used inside. Some features could be found in other Nissan and Infiniti models, but there are also some unique parts. Upholstery is made of quality materials and that boosts elegance and sophisticated look. Leather is used for the most surfaces, but there are also some wooden trims. Dashboard has new shape and complete infotainment system is going to be updated. Outside, LED lights are used for better visibility, and taillights are revisited. Lovely curves makes 2018 Infiniti QX60 stunning at first sight.

2018 Infiniti QX60 engines

It is almost certain that 2018 Infiniti QX60 will be powered with 3.5-l V6 petrol engine. Crossover is also getting electric batteries for better performance. Total horses coming from it is around 270, and torque level is at 250 lb-ft. Hybrid can give more boost to mileage, but it is still unknown how many mpg are planned. Electric motor of 15 kW will clearly improve it by few miles. Nevertheless, other possibility is smaller 2.5-l 4-cylinder unit with less power and CVT transmission. Diesel powertrain is not predicted at this time.

  1. Let’s hope they move the “left knee” and those hidden driver customization buttons to the much enlarged new screen to match or exceed the competition, e.g. Volvo XC90. Would also be nice to have adaptive headlights (move with steering to see around corners), powered 2nd row head rests (they do cut down on rear vision) tho they could make the rear mirror a screen. I do like my 2013 JX.

And keep the slide out on the visors and the width of the “trunk” area, I carry at times 4 golf buddies and their club. The JX is one of the VERY FEW that can do so.

  2. Does anyone know when the 2018 model is coming out?

    1. There are not yet official data, but it is expected to be in October 2017.
