According to announcements, 2018 Nissan Armada is coming redesigned. Fans are excited about this information, because it has been a while since last major modification on the full-size SUV. Some reports are saying that new Titan is also getting redesign, and these two models could use same platform in different segments, which causes many similarity and parallel development of both truck and SUV. Many changes on the appearance and cabin could lead to major modification of the drivetrain lineup. But, this is not confirmed yet.
2018 Nissan Armada redesign
Reports are saying that we should prepare for all-new Armada, with different dimensions and styling. Wheelbase is going to be shorter. Chassis is also going to be different, but there is no much of the information about it. We believe grille, headlights, bumper, side panels are suffering changes. SUV could be more aggressive if designers decide to modify hood and roof. Inside, new infotainment system will be installed, with a lot of features. Dashboard will keep most instruments in but new look is expected. Three rows and 60/40-split at third-row seats , which could be flatted to ground.
2018 Nissan Armada engine
If nothing changes on drivetrain system, new Armada will use again same unit as current vehicle. It is big 5.6-l V8 engine which is ready to offer excellent output numbers, while keeping superb driving performance. Although it can produce 320 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque, handling and cornering of the 2018 Nissan Armada will be great. That is thanks to new suspension and braking system being developed for upcoming model. Engine is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission box, which sends power to front wheels. We believe that manual gearbox and AWD are going to be offered in some of many trim levels on the new Armada.
2018 Nissan Armada price
Although big changes are expected on the 2018 Nissan Armada, we believe that company officials won’t express that on the price. Last model is priced from $40,000. Users were complaining to its price, so even if it suffers many changes, valuation of the crossover could be kept. Enthusiasts still believe that new model could be cheaper than its predecessor.
