Considering recent updates, it is pretty much for sure that 2019 Nissan Rogue won’t feature bigger changes. This is one of the company’s best-selling models in North America. A compact crossover characterized by an excellent balance between price and quality originally came in 2007. After six years of production, the company decided to redesign it so the current generation is present since 2013. Last year, we saw a big update which included various kinds of changes, including visual updates.
The new version now looks more attractive, but also comes with more equipment and various other improvements. On the other side, things under the hood have remained the same. The current generation of this model will be in production probably for another two years, so we don’t expect bigger changes at the moment. The 2019 Rogue will continue in the same way, featuring the same design and same trim level organization.
2019 Nissan Rogue redesign
Just like we’ve mentioned, the 2019 Nissan Rogue will continue in the same way. The popular crossover has been around for about five years. However, we saw an update last year, which included various kinds of changes. Of course, the focus was on the visual appearance, so there is an upgrade styling, which will carry on for the next year for sure. There are things like new headlights, new grille, taillight etc.
When it comes to the interior, changes weren’t so intense. For the next year, everything will remain the same, as far as it goes to the styling and overall look. On the other side, we could see some tweaks in terms of standard equipment. However, the trim level organization should remain the same.
2019 Nissan Rogue trim levels
Speaking of standard features, we could expect some novelties, but the base trim level organization will remain the same. There S, SV and SL.
The base S model comes with standard features like a rearview camera, a 7-inch touchscreen display, Bluetooth, 17-inch wheels, four-speaker audio system, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert etc.
A mid-range SV adds several interesting things. For example, there are standard features like 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, a power liftgate, heated side mirrors, keyless entry, push-button ignition, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Also, count on things like power-adjustable driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a six-speaker audio system.
Finally, there is a top-range SL trim with bigger 18-inch wheels, automatic high beams, fog lights, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, driver-seat memory settings etc. There are also technology things like a surround-view camera system, a navigation system, NissanConnect emergency and convenience services, and Bose audio.
2019 Nissan Rogue engines
Speaking of the powertrain, there are two variants of this popular crossover. Base models use a familiar 2.5-liter gasoline engine which delivers around 170 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque. It comes in a pair with CVT transmission, which delivers power to front wheels, while a 4×4 version is optional. With such amount of power, this crossover takes pretty much time to reach 60, around 9 seconds. On the other side, fuel economy is pretty good, almost 30 miles per gallon in a combined drive.
There is also a hybrid version, which combines an electric motor with a 2.0-liter gasoline unit. Total output goes around 175 horsepower. This version is also available in either 2WD or 4WD versions.
2019 Nissan Rogue release date and price
The 2019 Nissan Rogue will come in usual time, somewhere late in the year. Changes in price are not expected, so base models should go around 25.500 dollars.
Competition is pretty tough. There are models like Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, Ford Escape, Chevrolet Equinox and many others.
