The NV200 is a small van that has so many trumps to get closer to potential customers. Compared to the competition, it is smaller, which makes it more maneuverable. Therefore, many prefer to use it as a city delivery vehicle. Also, it is a quite simple vehicle, which plays on the card of affordability, which is great if you want to save some cash. The current generation has been around since 2013 and we have no doubt that the 2020 Nissan NV200 will continue in the same way. Production cycles in this segment are longer compared to typical passenger changes, so we don’t expect bigger changes in the following years. Therefore, expect to see this model on the market sometime late in the year.

2020 Nissan NV200 Redesign
With just 115 inches in wheelbase, the NV200 is one of the smallest vans in the class. This may limit it in terms of cargo capacity, but this van also has one great advantage. It is the most maneuverable van you will find around, which makes it a perfect delivery vehicle in urban environments. Also, it is quite affordable, which makes it perfect for commercial uses. In terms of base design characteristics, the interesting fact about it is that it rides on the company’s famous B platform.
This architecture is used for Nissan’s compact and subcompact cars, so you can imagine how small this van is. In terms of the styling, it features a typical van shape, with the design language that belongs to a previous generation of Nissan models. There is a couple of different configurations in the offer, but all of them share the model’s great driving characteristics and similar pros.
Interior
On the inside, the 2020 Nissan NV200 will keep things simple. The dashboard and driver’s area, in general, are designed in a quite simplistic manner, so don’t expect any bigger portion of tech goodies for the next year either. Practically, there are just two trim levels in the offer – S and SV.
The S trim is pretty basic in terms of standard equipment. It comes with standard features like air conditioning, cloth and vinyl upholstery, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a fold-flat passenger seat, power windows, and door locks. Also, you can count on features like a rearview camera, Bluetooth, two-speaker audio system, a USB input, and a 5-inch color display. Also, you can opt for cruise control and rear parking sensors.

The SV is a bit of an upgrade. Some of the highlights are things like heated power mirrors, keyless entry, cruise control, an additional rear 12-volt power outlet. Also, you can get things like a 5.8-inch touchscreen, voice controls, smartphone app integration and satellite radio.
2020 Nissan NV200 Engine
Under the hood, the 2020 Nissan NV200 is about to continue with a familiar 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit. This engine delivers around 130 horsepower, which isn’t a great amount of power but does the job. Unloaded, this van rides good and needs around 10 seconds to get to 60 mph. With a full load, things aren’t that good. The engine comes in pair with CVT transmission, which works very good.

2020 Nissan NV200 Release Date and Price
We don’t expect from 2020 Nissan NV200 to come any earlier than usual. It should hit the market sometime late in the year. When it comes to the price, base models will go around 22.000 dollars. Competition in the segment is relatively tough. Some of the rivals are models like Ford Transit Connect and Ram ProMaster City.
