The Rogue is the company’s best-selling compact SUV. It was revamped last year, and its more assertive style now helps it stand out from the crowd. The Rogue comes equipped with a remarkable array of standard safety and entertainment amenities.
This SUV had a substantial makeover for the 2021 model year, so the 2022 Nissan Rogue will feature just minor updates. The engine delivers excellent performance, but we’re expecting to see a hybrid model in the near future to compete with the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V hybrid models.
2022 Rogue Facelift
On the outside, the 2022 Nissan Rogue appears to be muscular and stylish. Nowadays, automakers build their SUVs with a plethora of curves, angles, and lines, complicating the overall appearance. Nissan, on the other hand, has taken a more straightforward approach, with the Rogue having a boxy form and truckish look.
While the Rogue’s simple design may not attract many eyes, it has enabled it to preserve the strong, powerful spirit that any SUV should possess. It has a dominating appearance and a good tall posture. As we said, the 2022 Rogue will be a carryover in terms of design. We can only expect truly minor changes.
At the front, there’s Nissan’s iconic V-Motion grille, looks sporty and recognizable. Then there are those split headlights with many levels that give flair and drama to the front face of the automobile. The side profile sports the blacked-out wheel arches and sculpted fenders. and relatively basic side profile give the automobile an appearance of ruggedness and strength.
The upcoming 2022 Nissan Rogue comes with a remarkably luxurious interior. The Rogue’s cabin looks very nice and appears fairly upscale. Nissan provides a choice of eight inside colors and trims, something no other automobile in the class does. As you get into the driver’s seat, you’ll notice a very large yet sporty flat-bottom heated leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Behind the steering wheel is a configurable 12-inch digital gauge cluster that is rather sleek and displays all important information. The dash is dominated by an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system display. This unit is of high quality and fairly straightforward and simple to operate. Lastly, Rogue SUV will introduce the latest driver-assistance aids.
The powertrain remains unchanged for the 2022 Nissan Rogue. This model will arrive with the same engine and transmission as the 2021 model. The 2022 Rogue will deploy the same 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine producing about 181 horsepower and 181 lb-ft torque. The engine is coming with a continuously variable transmission, and power is delivered to the front wheels. All Rogue model levels are available with the all-wheel-drive system as an option. The Rogue’s driving characteristics and ride quality are better since its makeover last year. The result is impressive ride comfort with solid power and fuel efficiency.
