After years of good sales, the 2023 Infiniti Q60 Coupe could be the last model ever produced. According to the most recent reports, the Q60 Coupe is not doing so great at the moment. This model was sold in only 2,800 examples in 2020, and the sales are still declining.
Clearly, customers are more into modern crossovers and SUVs, which is why the carmakers are leaving the car segment, including sedans and hatchbacks. The last model will bring minor updates, but the Red Sport variant will be on offer once again. Here’s everything you need to know.
Infiniti Q60 Coupe Changes
Like its predecessor, new 2023 Infiniti Q60 Coupe will also look modern and sleek. The current generation arrived in 2017 with a complete redesign. Since then, we haven’t seen major upgrades. This trend will continue so this model will introduce minor visual updates. We like the impressive bodywork with sharp lines and Q60 Coupe also comes with athletic stance.
Everything looks premium, especially on the Red Sport variant. This version is even sportier, with cool exterior elements, flat grille and larger wheels. Whatsoever, Red Sport provides 20-inch alloy wheels, unique exterior paints and more chrome accents.
Interior Features
Inside, the 2023 Infiniti Q60 Coupe has a lot of pretty and high-quality materials, but the design is starting to look old. The coupe also doesn’t have as much room to stretch out as other cars in this class, which makes the cabin feel small. Even so, the Q60 can still have a lot of nice features, like heated front seats and a power-adjustable steering wheel.
Tech-wise, this model provides a dual-screen infotainment system. Moreover, Infiniti offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integrations. Optionally, Q60 is available with leather seats, Wi-Fi hotspot and premium Bose audio system.
Potent Twin-Turbo V6 Engine
Every trim level offers the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. It produces up to 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. However, the 2023 Infiniti Q60 Coupe Red Sport will offer 400 horsepower, using the same V6 gasoline engine. Infiniti provides a smooth seven-speed automatic transmission.
On top of that, you can choose between the standard RWD system and optional AWD setup. The Red Sport model comes with a standard AWD system and it sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds. It also gets 22 miles per gallon combined. On the other hand, the regular model manages 23 mpg combined.
2023 Infiniti Q60 Coupe Release Date, Price
The forthcoming 2023 Infiniti Q60 Coupe will cost $42,000. The price is intact, which makes sense, given how minor the updates are. There will be three trim levels. The Luxe model starts at $52,000 and the Red Sport variant at $60,000. As we said, the Q60 Coupe might get the axe so this could be the last Q60 model ever produced. The sales will reportedly begin later in 2022.
