New 2023 Infiniti QX60 will go on sale in the second half of 2022. From what we know, this model will receive minor changes. It makes perfect sense, given the redesign for the 2022MY. The approaching SUV will most likely remain the brand’s best-selling model. The new-gen QX60 arrived just recently, so the 2023MY will arrive with new exterior colors and probably new wheel designs.
Moreover, we expect to see minor styling refresh. The interior will also gain important but not so significant updates. Infiniti could improve the ride quality and the current V6 engine will reportedly deliver slightly more power.
Infiniti QX60 Facelift
We think that any changes to the 2023 Infiniti QX60 will be very small. Most likely, they will include new paint colors, new wheel designs, and other cosmetic changes. That’s because last year, the QX60 got a complete makeover. This three-row luxury SUV now has new styling and it looks very modern.
Generally, everything on this model is new, so dramatic changes will not happen in the next year or two. The QX60 rides on 114.2 inches long wheelbase and it provides 6.8 inches of ground clearance. Hopefully, we will see at least one big surprise, probably in one of the range-topping trim levels.
Interior
The same story continues inside the cabin. The interior of the 2023 Infiniti QX60 will obtain an updated infotainment system. That includes a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a slightly improved digital instrument cluster. On the other hand, the QX60 will remain a three-row SUV with a room for seven passengers.
Like any other Infiniti, this one is also full of premium materials. It provides a high level of comfort, quilted stitching, and impressive color schemes. The cabin space is ample, although QX60 remains dimensionally the same. As before, this model will compete in the mid-size SUV segment.
Gasoline V6 Engine Specs
When the new-gen QX60 arrived, Infiniti offered the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. Now, the upcoming 2023 Infiniti QX60 will use the same powertrain option. However, this unit could gain slightly more power, although hybrid power is not yet an option. This engine currently develops 295 horsepower and a torque of 270 lb-ft. The FWD remains standard, while the AWD setup is optional.
Infiniti provides the same 9-speed automatic transmission. The manufacturer will reportedly improve the ride quality. As for fuel efficiency, this SUV gets 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. If you opt for the AWD system, fuel economy ratings will drop by 1 mpg.
2023 Infiniti QX60 Release Date, Price
The forthcoming 2023 Infiniti QX60 will now start at $47,000. On the other hand, the range-topping Autograph trim level will cost you slightly above $60,000. The sales will reportedly begin at some point during the second half of 2022. The biggest competitors are Acura MDX, Lincoln Nautilus, and BMW X5. Infiniti will reveal more details closer to the launch date.
