New 2023 Nissan Patrol will go on sale later next year. This means the approaching Patrol is less than a year away. As before, Patrol will be sold in the United States as the “Nissan Armada” SUV. On the other hand, Patrol is mostly popular in the Middle East. This new model will gain a couple of interesting updates, but we don’t expect dramatic upgrades.
As a result, the new Patrol SUV will look better than its predecessor. Even the interior will gain a couple of improvements, but nothing will change under the hood. However, the new Nismo variant is very likely to happen, according to the most recent reports.
Nissan Patrol Facelift
The forthcoming 2023 Nissan Patrol will arrive with a couple of nice visual updates. This also means the Armada SUV in the U.S. will introduce the very same changes. First of all, the Patrol model will gain more chrome accents. As you know, the 2022MY comes with a redesigned grille, reshaped headlights, and other significant upgrades.
Now, Nissan will focus on the rear section, so we expect new LED taillights. This model rides on standard 18-inch alloy wheels, while the 20-inch and 22-inch rims will be optional. As before, the Midnight Edition package will be on offer.
Interior Features
On the inside, the 2023 Nissan Patrol will introduce minor updates. We expect to see a couple of upgrades in terms of technology, and that’s about it. This isn’t a bad thing, as the Patrol SUV will be an even safer model with the latest modern high-tech amenities.
What we like about this model is the spacious cabin. Patrol is a big SUV, so eight passengers can sit comfortably. Speaking of which, the comfort is admirable, especially with the optional leather upholstery. Patrol will offer the latest infotainment system, along with the impressive 12.3-inch touchscreen.
Nismo Variant Could Happen in the Near Future
Things under the hood will remain untouched. This suggests that the 5.6-liter V8 engine will remain available in the 2023 Nissan Patrol. It has a gasoline powertrain with 390 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. The Armada will acquire a little more power, but we’re not sure if the Patrol SUV will follow suit. If this is true, the new model will have roughly 400 hp and 410 lb-ft of twisting power.
Nissan provides the same seven-speed automatic transmission, and the Patrol is a rear-wheel-drive SUV. Of course, the AWD system is once again optional. New engine alternatives are unlikely to appear in the next year or two, but a hybrid version may be available in the near future. Lastly, the high-performance Nismo model will most likely enter production at some point next year.
2023 Nissan Patrol Release Date, Price
The next 2023 Nissan Patrol will cost between $45,000 and $50,000. We expect a slightly higher price this time around. Patrol SUV will debut at the beginning of 2022, while the sales will begin later next year.
