The forthcoming 2023 Nissan Titan XD is going to get a lot of new things. This reliable pickup truck is still selling well, but not as well as it used to be. A lot of changes are planned for the Titan XD. It’s also possible that the Japanese carmaker will make even more changes, and some of them will be very big changes.
Even though the Titan XD is only available in a crew cab setup, diesel fans will love the engine. Titan XD, on the other hand, is in a group of its own, which means it doesn’t have a real rival. The most recent changes will add various exterior and interior novelties. This truck is expected to be on the market at some point in 2022, probably in late summer.
Nissan Titan XD Diesel Specs
The upcoming 2023 Nissan Titan XD has a diesel engine that makes it unique. To start with, the base Titan truck has a 5.6-liter V8 gas engine that runs on gasoline. The engine is also found in SUVs like the Infiniti QX80 and the Nissan Armada, which both have a lot of power. Several trustworthy sources have recently said that there should be more engine options. Even though no official statement has been made, the engine appears to be a twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine from a few years ago.
It also has a 5.0-liter V8 diesel engine. This output generates 332 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque. Full engine specs aren’t available yet, but the diesel option is sure to improve fuel efficiency and hauling capacity. It is a great engine for hauling and towing things, but if you want to go off-road more, Warrior Pro 4X is definitely a better choice than the Titan XD model.
Interior Details
Even though the 2023 Nissan Titan XD is a tough truck, it has features that even the pickiest pickup buyer will love. The Titan XD will have better materials inside. Sadly, this popular model only comes in a crew-cab style. The crew-cab is the most popular choice for customers in the United States, which is good because that’s what most people want. When Nissan brings back its Zero Gravity seats again, they’ll be even more comfortable this time around.
In addition, the basic variant comes with a 7-inch infotainment system. However, we don’t know how significant the interior upgrades will be. The manufacturer could easily provide a new and larger optional display, new interior colors schemes, and a lot more. Lastly, we also expect to see additional driver-assistance aids for improved safety.
2023 Nissan Titan XD Release Date, Price
The price of the forthcoming 2023 Nissan Titan XD will start at $45,000, at least. There’s always a possibility for a price increase, so don’t be surprised if the new model costs closer to $50k. The sales will begin later in 2022. The most recent reports are predicting late August as the most likely launch date. However, we are waiting for Nissan to provide more details.
