The upcoming 2023 Nissan Z model will go on sale this year, competing with the Toyota Supra and the new Chevy Corvette. In general, it is an excellent time for Nissan to remodel its classic and famous Z coupe. In case you didn’t know, Nissan’s sports cars are labeled with an alphanumeric code, such as the current 370Z and original 240Z, while the upcoming generation will just be referred to as Z.

According to available information, the approaching Nissan Z will receive a technological update, this will include a new touchscreen with an updated infotainment system. Moreover, the manufacturer will provide a slew of additional driver-assistance technologies. It will also include a potent twin-turbo V6 engine that will transfer power to the rear wheels. The customers will be able to choose between a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission.

Nissan Z Engine Specs

The upcoming 2023 Nissan Z will not arrive with a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that powers the Nissan GT-R model. Instead, a 3.0-liter engine will be under the hood. The same engine can be found in the current Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 model.

Reportedly, this engine will be capable of producing roughly 400 horsepower and transferring it to the rear wheels. Nissan will sell this car with either a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. In case you didn’t know, the Toyota Supra has a 3.0-liter engine with 382 hp.

Interior Design

The interior of the next 2023 Nissan Z appears to be modern and very recognizable. According to the Japanese carmaker, the new model will be dimensionally the same. The good news is that the cabin has advanced in the technology department. The base trim level has standard black fabric seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a manually-adjustable passenger’s seat.
