By The 2024 Nissan Sylphy is a model you’ve probably never heard of. It’s because it is a model sold in China. However, this model is closely related to the Sentra car, sold in the United States. The first preview of the Sylphy model shows lots of upgrades. Thanks to that, we have a better idea of how the Nissan Sentra will look in the future.
Nissan revealed lots of improvements, including updated infotainment, improved styling, and much more. We already wrote about the 2024 Sentra and its possible changes under the hood. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about the Sylphy and Sentra models:
Nissan Sylphy Interior
From what we know, the interior will see the biggest updates. The 2024 Nissan Sylphy will get a mid-cycle facelift. For a start, a 12.3-inch HD infotainment display will be on offer, which is quite a big upgrade. The current model offers 7-inch and 8-inch screens, like the Sentra model. The carmaker will add wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a new gear selector, and new A/C vents.
Optionally, this small car will introduce things such as leather upholstery and ambient lighting. The interior is very practical and surprisingly roomy for such a small model. With the most recent refresh, the Sylphy model will gain a higher level of comfort and better ride quality. Lastly, Nissan will introduce further safety improvements.
Exterior Facelift
Visually, the 2024 Nissan Sylphy will not change drastically. However, this model will provide a couple of aesthetic upgrades. The front fascia will see the biggest refresh, with a revised grille and improved headlights. The side profile will remain, while we don’t know what is going to happen with the rear section. The Sylphy model is available in both hatchback and sedan body styles.
When we combine photos of the new Sylphy and spied Sentra, we can safely say that the mid-cycle facelift is on the way. The goal is to deliver a more stylish and premium car. Naturally, new exterior colors are on the way, along with new optional wheels and more.
Engine Specs
No words on the engine options yet. The forthcoming 2024 Nissan Sylphy could gain a new engine option. After all, the new transmission tunnel and the new gear selector are suggesting that something is going on under the hood.
Right now, this model offers various gas engines, ranging from 100 to almost 150 horsepower. In some markets, the Sylphy/Sentra model is available with a hybrid powertrain as well. As we said earlier, the Nissan Sentra will probably gain a new engine, so the China-market Sylphy should follow the same steps.
2024 Nissan Sylphy Launch Date
Both models will remain affordable. According to reliable the price will remain intacteports, the price will remain intact. The 2024 Nissan Sylphy is going on sale in China later in 2023, and the Nissan Sentra will hit the markets in the United States at the same time.
