After a long wait, the 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid is coming to the market. There were whispers floating around that Nissan was preparing to abandon the Titan project. Nissan’s mid-size pickup trucks (Frontier and Navara) are extremely popular. They are, without a doubt, top sellers in the segment. The full-size vehicle, on the other hand, isn’t doing so well.
It’s unclear why Nissan isn’t seeing the same level of success in that sector. Now, the Japanese carmaker will try to turn things around. Electrification is the perfect answer. The Titan Hybrid is on the way, and it will directly rival hybrid rivals, including Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. It will be the best Titan ever made, delivering more power and great fuel efficiency.
Nissan Titan Hybrid Exterior
The upcoming 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid appears to be more aggressive than previous Titan models. It’s a full-size pickup with more curves. Hopefully, this truck will remain practical, while gaining better aerodynamics, and attractive design. The wheels are massive, and the tires are hefty and appear to be capable of off-roading. The grille will wear larger openings, in order to deliver better engine cooling.
A large vehicle necessitates a large engine, which generates extremely high temperatures in the engine compartment. A larger grille allows for better circulation and prevents overheating. Like headlights, there are almost squares. To provide the highest safety and visibility, the latest LED technology is used.
Interior Changes
The 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid comes with a very modern interior. It is a pleasant place with plenty of room and high-tech features. Nissan is making attempts to reclaim fans’ hearts, starting with the new cabin design. Nissan intended to combine the interiors of the Nissan Rogue and the Ariya EV. Starting with the upholstery, we have suede, leather, and fabric options.
Reportedly, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen will be optional. This means an 8-inch display will come as standard. Nissan will allegedly deliver an all-digital instrument cluster and new dashboard design. Still, we are waiting for further interior details.
What About Engine Specs?
The upcoming 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid will deliver numerous improvements. Despite all of the upgrades, a hybrid powertrain is the most important one. Currently, this truck offers a 5.6-liter V8 engine with 400 hp. On the other hand, Titan Hybrid will arrive with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V engine. Furthermore, Nissan will provide a larger 200 kWh battery pack. Reportedly, the Titan Hybrid will have around 600 horsepower, which sounds unreal at the moment.
A 10-speed automatic transmission will come as standard, per source. We are still waiting for the Japanese automaker to reveal more details, including the truck’s towing capacity and mileage figures. The all-electric version could arrive in the next few years. Reportedly, Nissan is working with Hercules on a fully electric Titan truck.
2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid Price, Release Date
From what we know, the new 2024 Nissan Titan Hybrid will cost around $40,000. Of course, this is far from official. Still, the sales will reportedly begin in the first half of 2023. This means we should expect official details by the end of 2022.
