The next 2024 Nissan Z will receive only minor improvements. It is a legendary sports car with tradition and recognizable performances. The 2023 Nissan Z introduced a complete redesign, so it is a brand-new model. Therefore, the next model will probably gain small modifications only. Back in the day, Nissan offered various versions, including 370Z and 240Z.
However, nowadays Nissan calls it Z. It is a potent car with a very powerful twin-turbo V6 engine, providing the ultimate driving experience. Moreover, superb handling and manual transmission will make you have a lot of fun while driving this car. The interior is satisfying as well, although we expect a couple of technology updates in the near future.
The new 2024 Nissan Z will continue with refreshments. This time, this iconic car will receive only minor updates. The two-seat coupe should introduce a couple of technology updates, including updated infotainment. However, we expect to see new driver-assistance aids as well, along with the most recent phone connectivity. The cabin wears premium materials, including leather upholstery. Nissan offers standard dual-zone automatic climate control and power-adjustable seats.
Right now, an 8-inch display is standard, while a 9-inch unit is available as an option. That could change in the future, so don’t be surprised if Nissan delivers a larger display. A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster looks very modern and impressive. Besides that, we appreciate the Wi-Fi hotspot and Bose sound system.
Potent Twin-Turbo V6
Under the hood, there is a potent twin-turbo V6 engine. However, unlike the GT-R version with 564 hp, the 2024 Nissan Z gets 400 horsepower. You can choose between a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic transmission. While Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400 gets an AWD system, Nissan Z will stick with the RWD setup. The turbocharged engine is very potent, so the Nissan Z sprints from 0 to 60 hp in around 4.4 seconds.
Handling is perfect, so this coupe is a very fun-to-drive car. On top of that, the suspension’s tuning and numerous mechanical upgrades make this model very agile. With 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, Nissan Z provides good fuel efficiency. A manual transmission will slightly lower the fuel economy numbers.
Exterior Design and Colors
We must say that the 2024 Nissan Z looks truly amazing. However, this model will receive zero visual upgrades, per reports. It is a couple with an athletic stance and a sporty vibe. The exterior is a perfect combination of retro flavors and modern styling cues.
The front fascia provides a rectangular grille and circular headlamps. We also appreciate horizontal LED taillights in the back. Nissan delivers hot exterior colors, including the optional Ikazuchi Yellow color. A contrasting black roof is also a possibility in this model.
2024 Nissan Z Price, Release Date
Available in three trim levels, the base 2024 Nissan Z will cost $41,000. The mid-range Z Performance trim will be available for $51,000 and Z Proto Spec for almost $55,000. With minor updates, the next Nissan Z will probably keep the current prices. The sales will begin next summer.
